Short version: this is a personal hobby site. I don't track you, I don't sell anything, and I don't have your data.
Draft language only. Read it, edit it to match what your host and form provider actually do, and have it say something you're comfortable standing behind.
What this site collects
No analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies are set by w4io.me. If you send a message through the contact form, the name, email address, callsign and message you type go to my form provider, who forwards them to my inbox. I use that address to reply and for nothing else. I don't share it, sell it or add it to a mailing list.
My web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) as part of running the site. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads.
Content and reuse
The words and photos here are mine. You're welcome to quote a passage with a link back, and if you want to reproduce a whole post or a photo — for a club newsletter, say — just ask. The answer is usually yes.
Accuracy
Everything here is field notes, not gospel. Licensing rules change, park references get renumbered, and antenna advice that worked on one beach may not work on yours. Verify anything that matters against a primary source, especially anything involving another country's licensing authority.
